I first learned about Paul and Exitwound when he sent me his music. After listening to his music I called Paul to congratulate him for having created one of the most unique sounds in all of Indian Country. Paul calls his music "Cool Metal", I call it "Pure Genius"! His guitar riffs are fresh, unique, masterful and mind bending. Paul is one of the most respectful people I've met. In short ..he's cool! Here's Paul in his own words:

I'm a 42 yr old Northern Cheyenne Solo Artist out of Billings, MT, and Creator of EXITWOUND. I'm newly engaged, raising 4 wonderful childern, I also am a Certified P.C.A. For the last year & 1/2 I've worked 7 day's a week taking care of the Elder, I take care of 11 people 7 day's a week and in the evenings I create & record all my music in my home studio. I take great Pride and Honor in helping the Elder & childern.

Exitwound:
Holds many meanings for me! It represents all the hardships and mistakes that I've made over the years. I've overcome a lifetime of the Old Party life! I spent 26 yr's there, And It is not a very nice place to be! I've seen alot in my time, Being here on Mother Earth. But, with the trouble that I got myself into, I've been able to overcome all the mistakes. One Day At A Time!! I'm living proof that one can make a 100% TRUE COMMITTMENT And change! For I have suceeded in my change of the old life style!

And the Rewards of the sincere change are so wonderful! Today, I can hold my head up straight and enjoy the Brand new life that was given to me by The Great Spirit. Today I'm finally happy, and have earned true respect back!

The Music of Exitwound:
Is very unique on it's own, the music has a type of healing about it! I've poured my heart & soul & all of my emotions into creating the music.

I call my style of music "Cool Metal". Music is a great escape from all the stress's, trouble's, down's & out's of todays world that we all live and share. The last 3 and 1/2 years, I've been healing the wounds of my own mistakes and this is where my creativity of music comes into play! I do not take credit for my Natural Abilities, It is a very unique gift that I have been given from The Great Spirit ... It's a very special gift of Creating a very unique type of music!

Straight from the heart & Soul ...Pure Emotions. Always remember and hold on to your own beliefs that Dreams do come true! I'm living proof!
