Robert Mirabal's Star Road Records

After a four-year hiatus, Robert Mirabal is back with the strongest album of his career. The thirteen tracks on "In the Blood" blend scenes from the American experience-past, present and future-with themes from contemporary Native life, some sung in English and others in Mirabal's native tongue, Tiwa.

He has also released Pueblo Christmas on Star Road Records. Pueblo Christmas is a truly unique presentation of these favorite Christmas classics. I particularly like Robert's historical background on these songs and the timeline of Native American history when they were composed.

This project included website design, single song downloads, music jukeboxes, tour schedules, blogs, gift shop, and photo galleries. 95% of the website has robust Content Management Systems (CMS) allowing Robert, Drew and Barbara to update their website from the road, simply by using their browser.

EcoNest Building Company

The EcoNest utilizes natural building techniques including: timber framing, clay/straw walls, earth plastering, and natural, non-toxic finishes throughout.

They are the product of a design/build collaboration with Robert Laporte, a timber framer, author, natural house building pioneer and teacher and Paula Baker-Laporte, an award-winning architect, baubiologist (building biologist), teacher, and author specializing in healthy and ecological design.

This project included website redesign, video creation and streaming, and 80% of the website has dynamic content management systems. We were asked to take over hosting of their website and to retrofit it with Content Management Systems (CMS).

FarOutThings.com

FarOutThings.com is the place to find rare, unique, hard to find, out of print, one of a kind, and sometimes just plain fun items! After constantly looking for unique gift ideas in lots of different stores and websites, we decided to create FarOutThings.com. Our goal is to find and present to you, really cool gifts that you might not normally find elsewhere. Some items are unique and one-of-a-kind. Some are old and used, some are new. Some gifts are wonderfully tacky and some are out of print. Some are expensive and some are delightfully not! We like to think they are all Far Out Things!

FarOutThings.com is donating portions of their sales to NativeRadio.com. When you buy from them you are helping to support us!

This project included complete website design, Flash animation, product management systems, ecommerce and other content management systems.

The Kentucky Center for Native American Arts and Culture (KCNAAC)
The Kentucky Center for Native American Arts and Culture (KCNAAC) is building an educational and interpretive Center! The purpose of the KCNAAC is to honor, celebrate and recognize Native American peoples' heritage and contributions to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Ohio River Valley region, and other contiguous states. One important way to accomplish this is to tell the peoples' stories, and these stories vividly live in Native American song, dance, theatre, and visual arts.

The Center will be built on 85 acres overlooking the Ohio River within General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, Kentucky. It will house areas for permanent and traveling exhibits, a library with a research archive, an auditorium suitable for theatre and lectures, classrooms, and an art gallery and gift shop. Outdoor facilities will include an amphitheater for dance and performance, herbal and native plant gardens, nature trails, and a picnic area.

This project included complete website redesign, Flash animation, donation system, and scrolling pictures content management systems.

Pecos New Mexico
Pecos, New Mexico is located between Santa Fe and Las Vegas, New Mexico, at the site of a mountain pass used by travelers for centuries. This pass was used by ancient nomadic Indian tribes, by travelers on the Santa Fe Trail and was the site of a Civil War battle that changed the course of the war and of our United States of America. Pecos is a small, friendly village perched at the edge of a vast wilderness area still pristine in its offerings of fly fishing, hiking and camping.

This project included complete website redesign, Flash animation, Business Members section, Community Discussion Forum, Community News, and dynamic content management systems.

"The Native Voice is an evolution in communication -- infusing a uniquely Native look and content into the status quo newspaper format.

The Native Voice utilizes history and culture, art and technology, people and pictures to tell the stories we want and need to know.

The content reflects our philosophy including: that this newspaper be rooted in the traditional laws and culture of our people; that the foundation be made of solid, ethical journalism; and that we set a positive example of progress, responsibility, hope, unity and reconciliation amongst all our nations."
